Terms.
Effective 2026-10-13
The service.
333 helps groups of friends find a fair place to meet, make a plan, and remember it. These terms are the agreement between you and 333 about the service when you use the app or 333.place.
Your account.
One account per phone number. You’re responsible for your line. If your number changes hands, update your account. You must be 13 or older. See our privacy policy for the information collected during signup.
Acceptable use.
No stalking and no harassment. Abusing location features can get your account banned right away. Don’t use plan links, trip links, lists, or place pages to target or track anyone. No scraping, no automated access, and no commercial resale of the service or its data.
Your content.
Your content stays yours. You give us permission to store and display it as needed to provide the service. That includes showing it to the friends you share it with, in plan and trip links, and on the public lists and place pages you choose to publish. A public list shows your first name and photo, and search engines can index it until you turn it off. You can report places in the app and block people. For other concerns about shared content, contact support.
Plan links and guests.
Plan links and trip links let people view and respond without an account. Anyone who has a link can open it, so share links only with people you intend to invite. Guests follow the same acceptable-use rules, and the organizer of a plan is responsible for who they invite.
Surprise plans and the iMessage app.
A surprise plan keeps its place hidden from invitees until the reveal time. The iMessage app lets you create a published plan for one place and one time and send its link in a conversation. That link works like any other plan link, and the same rules apply to it.
Text messages.
Requesting phone sign-in sends a verification code through Firebase. Joining the launch list is a separate opt-in for launch contact. An invitation or guest response does not enroll someone in texts. Message and data rates may apply. To withdraw launch-list consent, email hey@friendship.co. Marketing consent is not a condition of using the service.
Suggestions and third places.
We suggest venues. We do not operate them or make reservations for you. Some suggestions and outing drafts are written with AI from your outing request, and they may be wrong. Venue details, hours, photos, and travel estimates come from third-party providers and may be incomplete or out of date. Check hours, prices, and booking requirements before your outing.
Availability.
We work to keep the service running, but we do not promise it will always be available. The service is provided “as is,” without warranty. Login messages and notifications depend on carriers and service providers and may be delayed.
Ending things.
You can delete your account anytime. In the app, open Profile → Privacy and data, or email us. We can suspend or terminate accounts that break the acceptable-use rules. Location abuse is the fastest route to that.
Liability.
To the maximum extent the law allows, 333 isn’t liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is capped at $100 or what you paid us in the last year. That is zero, because 333 is free.
Indemnification.
If someone brings a claim against us because of how you used 333 or because you broke these terms, you’ll cover our reasonable costs of defending it, to the extent the law allows.
Copyright and DMCA.
If you believe something on 333 infringes your copyright, email hey@friendship.co with enough detail to find it: the work, where it appears, and how to reach you. We respond to valid notices under the DMCA.
Dispute resolution.
Delaware law governs these terms, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. If something goes wrong, email hey@friendship.co first. Most things we can fix that way. These terms do not require arbitration or waive your right to bring a claim in a court with jurisdiction. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
General.
These terms are the entire agreement between you and 333 about the service. If any part is unenforceable, the rest still stands. You can’t transfer your rights under these terms. We can transfer ours to a successor, for example in an acquisition. If we don’t enforce a part right away, we haven’t waived it.
When these terms change, we’ll post the change here with a new effective date and tell you in the app if it’s material. Questions: hey@friendship.co.
